Empowered by the media and tech giants, liberal elites are increasingly showing who they really are. They are not afraid. Here’s some stuff from just today, and I’m sure I missed other, more outrageous items:
California appears ready to pass a bill that would require priests to break the Seal of Confession (in the case of child molesters). Bishop Barron of L.A. has said he would instruct priest to disobey this law.
Then there’s this from pop megastar Kesha, who comes about one inch away from including Christians (and you know she wants to):

Kesha desperately wants to say “Catholic” or “Christian” (I’d argue the song, as-is, is covertly conveying the message), but her handlers must have told her ‘not quite yet; they aren’t quite ready for that.’ But, in time, they will feel safe saying such things about Christians.
As an aside, I increasingly only listen to classical music and, gulp, some Gregorian chant. At a high mass last week, two of the songs (in Latin with an organ playing) brought tears to my eyes. After six months or so, I can barely stand the sound of modern pop music. There is some up-to-date music I enjoy (think The Black Keys), but I am shocked how repulsive everything else sounds after a time away. It’s been a wonderful cleanse.
As Cardinal Francis George said:
“I expect to die in bed, my successor will die in prison and his successor will die a martyr in the public square. His successor will pick up the shards of a ruined society and slowly help rebuild civilization, as the church has done so often in human history.”
I’m afraid we are dangerously close to the prison scenario.

Liberals in this land worship abortion with a fervor as passionate as some of the religious crusaders throughout history. “Convert or die” has become “Convert or we will steal your livelihood and reputation from you.”
